Hastings Town Deal
Government–facing digital document & website design

In support of the town of Hastings’ bid for £28m of funding.

The document and site needed a strong, contemporary graphic identity that captured the essence of Hastings. The website needed to be accessible and easy to navigate for public engagement.

The visual language was inspired by Hastings’ iconic landscape. With simple graphic illustrations, seaside colours, and geometric patterns that evoke the rich heritage of our vibrant and creative town.

End result

Hastings successfully secured a total of £24.2m in funding to rejuvenate the town and surrounding areas.

The government used the Town Deal website as an example to the other 100 towns and cities in the running for funding, as a strong brand identity.
